Life Second By Second ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data.

Life Second By Second does NOT collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information or videos on external servers. Specifically:
- Videos: All recorded videos are stored locally on your device in the app's sandboxed storage
- Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, or any identifying information
- Usage Data: We do not track how you use the app
- Location Data: We do not access or store your location
Permissions
The app requests the following permissions:
- Camera: Required to record your daily 1-second videos
- Microphone: Required to capture audio with your videos
- Photo Library: Optional, only used when you choose to import existing videos
- Notifications: Optional, only used if you enable daily reminders
These permissions are only used for their stated purposes and data never leaves your device.
Third-Party Services
Life Second By Second uses the following third-party services:
Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display optional rewarded advertisements. AdMob may collect certain information as described in Google's Privacy Policy. This includes:
- Device identifiers
- IP address
- Ad interaction data

Apple StoreKit
In-app purchases (support tips) are processed through Apple's StoreKit. Apple handles all payment information according to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your payment information.
Data Storage
All videos and app data are stored locally on your device using iOS's standard app sandbox. This data:
- Remains on your device at all times
- Is protected by iOS's security features
- Is backed up to iCloud if you have iCloud Backup enabled (controlled by iOS settings)
- Is deleted when you delete the app
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third parties. Your videos and data remain private and under your control.
Children's Privacy
1Second does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages.
Your Rights
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:
- Access: All your videos are accessible within the app
- Delete: You can delete individual videos or remove the entire app
- Export: You can export your stitched videos to share or backup
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
